Mission

JP3 is an equipment and information company that develops and sells online analyzers and data analytics. JP3 provides real-time compositional information about the hydrocarbon streams our clients produce, transport, process, refine and sell, enabling them to radically improve their process efficiencies and maximize profitability.

2005

JP3 exits the semiconductor industry, leading to the incorporation of Jrs Manufacturing, later rebranded as JP3 Measurement, as an LLC.

2010

JP3 launches the Verax 75 to the market

2015

JP3 launches the Verax VPA to address the increased focus on product volatility

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Tom Redlinger

Vice President Of Data Analytics

Mr. Redlinger serves as Vice President of Data Analytics, leading the adoption of real-time process optimization through data analytics and measurements. In this role, he directs the operation, execution, sales, and coordinates with the company’s data analytic efforts to ensure compliance with standards while maximizing the value of our customers’ hydrocarbons. Before joining Flotek and JP3, Tom held several global C-level positions within the testing, inspection, and certification markets as well as global executive positions in the upstream oil and gas services segments. Tom’s earlier experience comprises over 20 years of management and research development roles while working on complex programs across the globe. Before joining the private sector, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, assigned to peacekeeping and rebuilding efforts in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Mr. Redlinger holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and completed executive education certification programs with Harvard Business School, Rice University, and MIT. Tom is a Registered Professional Engineer and US patent agent and an author on seventeen patents.

Paul Little

Founder And Vice President Of Business Development

Paul Little founded JP3 Measurement in 2005 in response to a recognized lack of analytical equipment that could survive harsh South Texas environments as well as provide valuable data to the demanding oil & gas production infrastructure.  Now, as Vice President of Business Development at JP3, Mr. Little is responsible for advancing the company’s business strategy and for developing applications that utilize the unique aspects of optical measurement technologies in order to increase the customer’s operational efficiencies.  Prior to founding JP3, Mr. Little was final test manager at Applied Materials and at Wolfe Engineering, both semiconductor manufacturing companies in the Silicon Valley.  Mr. Little holds Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

Jie Zhu

Head Of Technology Development

Jie Zhu joined JP3 Measurement in 2013 as Senior Engineer and Principal Spectroscopist. Over the years with the company, he was promoted to successive positions as Director of New Product Development, Senior Director of Development, and now Head of Technology Development. His Technology Development Team is responsible for JP3’s R&D, product management, product & application development, chemometrics & data science, and quality management system. Prior to JP3 Measurement, Mr. Zhu was an R&D engineer at Analytical Specialties, Inc. (ASI), where he was one of the key inventors and developers for ASI’s tunable diode laser process analyzers. He worked for Yokogawa as an Application and Research Engineer after Yokogawa acquired ASI in 2008. Mr. Zhu holds Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Computer Science from Tsinghua University (China) and Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University.

Bill Tsakopulos

Director Of Hardware Engineering

Bill Tsakopulos has been providing design engineering, research and product development expertise for JP3 Measurement since the company was founded in 2005. Mr. Tsakopulos joined JP3 as a full-time employee in 2013, continuing in his role as Lead Design Engineer and working in Research and Development. In 2020, he was promoted to Director of Manufacturing; in 2021, he gained the additional title of Director of Hardware Engineering. Prior to joining JP3, Mr. Tsakopulos was Site Manager of Wolfe Engineering Austin, a semiconductor equipment contract manufacturing and engineering company based out of Silicon Valley. Mr. Tsakopulos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas.
